What's on - PRESS RELEASE - Chelsea Flower Show, July 2009
The ultimate event in the gardening calendar
Chelsea sets the latest gardening trends, features the newest and most desirable gardening
products and creates an explosion of colours and scents. Being invited to represent Hadlow College
in the British Floral Association tent was an honour that Peter could not turn down.
All florists and gardeners alike view the Chelsea Show as the pinnacle in the events calendar,
and it was not only an honour but an inspiration to be amongst the great and the good of the
world of horticulture, as well as the BBC!!
The next big event in the floral calendar is RHS Hampton Court Flower Show, where Peter will be showcasing his excellent skills in the Floral Energy competition in association with Hadlow College.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish him and Hadlow College all the very best. Keep an eye on our ‘Whats On?’ page for more on Peter’s RHS adventures.
Making ‘floral bags’ was the theme of the day, but we also made modern corsages and Peter even gave his floral tie its debut, and was very well received as proven by the amount of interest and orders placed.
Working with all the team at Hadlow College was a creative and fun filled day, and look forward in anticipation to next years show. Here a some photographs of Peter enjoying his day in the Chelsea limelight. A big thank you goes to Neil Bain.
